My Kindle 3 died while I was in the middle of reading Divergent - I was able to get that back on. After 10 days of getting started, I have to say that it is absolutely perfect. The new interface is just brilliant, even if at the beginning I had a bit of trouble to find the different settings. The touchscreen is ultra-precise and very nervous, to the point that a few times the page turns all alone, or that a menu drops down when I barely touch the screen. The new system of dictionary is also really very practical. I appreciate being able to save the words that I have sought during my reading. What's more, the Kindle is small and lightweight, it slips easily into a small handbag. Small flat, I have the impression that the battery drains more quickly (I just put it to load after 10 days) : may be it's because the Wifi is always on the road (I have not looked for how to disable it). The other downside, I have not found (but not really looked) how do you remove the bookmarks. For ease of reading, once again nothing to complain about. I have small hands so for me the size of the Kindle is just perfect. It is not wide so I can keep it in their hand with the thumb close to the screen without ending up with a cramp (which was not the case with my Kindle 3, which, in addition, with a protective case large enough).
